VeriPol will not just stop after the May 2022 elections. Our team has seen the power that this application can give to users in encouraging them to exercise their right to vote and become smart and informed voters, by simplifying the researching process so it does not have to be complicated anymore.
VeriPol will serve as the LinkedIn for government officials and aspiring politicians.
The application will be continuously developed and the proponents will gather more data on candidates throughout the years. We are also looking at processing data from previous elections to be able to build richer profiles on the candidates. We aim to partner with COMELEC as their official mobile application for voters in the 2025 Senatorial or the 2028 Presidential Elections.
We are also considering our role in non-election periods. We want to help elected officials better represent their constituents through collaborative features like instant polling on drafts of bills, helping the representatives know if the bill they are proposing is something the people actually want and need.
We have already prepared the infrastructure for the next elections. For as long as the Philippine democracy lives on, we will conduct elections and continue the goal to make it easy for voters to make smarter decisions when electing officials.
